JJ Nugent

JJ Nugent is a film and entertainment executive with more than 15 years of experience spanning international sales, distribution, production, financing, and content licensing.

He joined Millennium Media in 2019 and ultimately served as President of Sales & Distribution, overseeing worldwide sales across the company’s production slate and extensive film library. During his tenure he worked across major Millennium franchises and titles including Rambo: Last Blood, Angel Has Fallen, The Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard, The Expendables 4, The Enforcer, The Bricklayer, Hellboy: The Crooked Man, Red Sonja, Subservience, Dirty Angels, and Guns Up.

In addition to sales and distribution, Nugent has produced feature films and been involved in raising production financing — giving him experience across the full film lifecycle, from development and financing through production, international sales, distribution, and library monetization. He currently advises Millennium Media as a Sales & Distribution Consultant and Radial Entertainment on international licensing, distribution strategy, library monetization, and deal structuring.

Prior to Millennium, Nugent served as Director of International Sales & Distribution at AMBI Group, working on films including Lamborghini, Arctic Dogs, and To the Bone, while overseeing international sales for a catalog of more than 400 films. He specializes in worldwide film licensing, financing, production, distribution strategy, rights management, and content monetization across theatrical, television, streaming, digital, and home entertainment platforms.
